29 million UK citizens may be entitled to compensation up to £30 this is due to a lawsuit raised by Which? Against Qualcomm chip manufacturer.
The lawsuit relates to a possible breach of UK competition law, and Qualcomm taking advantage of it’s dominance in the market and charging manufacturers too much for chips.
The costs were then inflated to the end users for handsets that featured chips, this may have affected Apple and Samsung handset purchased since the 1st October 2015.
Depending on the handset purchased customers could be entitled up to £30 compensation if the case continues.
