The price of Amazon Prime is increasing for customers across the whole of Europe by up to 43% a year starting from September.
In the UK the increase is from £79 to £95 from September 15th that’s 20% extra per annum, however its only £1 extra per month if you pay in instalments.
However, those in France will see a 43 percent increase with costs jumping from €49 per year to €69.90.
In most countries the services provided under prime are video, music, exclusive sales and of course the prime shipping.
This will be the first ever increase for the subscription service in the UK and will certainly test the services customers.
50 percent of the UK households already have a Prime subscription, but will this number decrease due to the increase.
