The Apple event has unleashed the iPhone 14 upon us and the other variants with the biggest design changes since 2017 and much smaller bezels.
Tim Cook has praised the lineup as the, “most innovative pro lineup yet.”
The phones won’t be in stores till the 16th of September, however you can pre-order from Friday if you are keen to get yours first.
The new Bezel is comprised of a pill shaped outer ring that changes size dependent on the content being viewed, then houses the Face ID components and the front-facing camera.
The notch has been dubbed by Apple as the Dynamic Island and notifications will come spewing out of it.
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro and the Pro Max will both boast always on displays, and will be complimented by the new lock screen widget feature in iOS 16.
Reminders, events and whether updates will be supported in the always on display.
The phones will also be powered by the new A16 Bionic chip, which has been introduced to not only improve the operability, but also to improve efficiency.
Apple has also introduced a new 48 mega-pixel camera on these iPhones, that’s the best camera ever on an Apple phone and will allow up to two times improvements to low-light photography, based off a quad-pixel sensor with f/1.78 aperture and 24mm focal length.
Also, 4K video will be available in the cinematic mode, which allows 4K resolution at 30fps.
