Changes to the Apple notifications are in route with iOS 16 that will allow more organised notifications for when you are on the move.
It’s been four years since the last noticeable iOS update, when Apple allowed for the grouping of application notifications.
Now though the Lock screen has been completely reskinned, with customizable widgets, something not previously available.
Notifications will now also appear from the bottom of the lock screen and can be hidden by scrolling down.
There is also a new feature called Live Activities, which is able to pin notifications that respond like widgets, including news, sports events updates, which will pin to the screen.
