Apple WatchOS 7 new features leaked

New features of the Apple WatchOS 7 have been leaked, as has the iOS 14 code, meaning we have some exciting news today.

It seems this release will finally bring the sleep tracking feature within the Health app on the iPhone allowing you to personalize sleep goals.

Something originally rumored in 2017, the new sleep tracking app has been much anticipated.

This functionality has been rumored for months, but now it seems a bit of proof it will be happening from 9to5mac.

With the new WatchOS you will also be able to share your watchface with friends and family, this doesn’t necessarily mean that there will be complete customization, however it is a step in the right direction.

Images on the handset will also appear in better quality based on this operating system update.

There is also a tachymeter reportedly on the way, which allows an analogue to convert elapsed time into a speed calculation based on travel time and distance measured.

Also if you were looking to give your children an Apple Watch, there will be a parental control feature.

Updates to the Apple operating systems are usually unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, however Coronavirus may have an impact on this as many events are being cancelled, and Apple has just asked all Seattle employees to WFH and avoid travel.
