It may soon be possible to send Facebook messages to WhatsApp and vice versa, Facebook has recently announced.
Many people get tired of the endless myriad of communications apps, especially given the current pandemic, you can currently message on so many different systems.
Although some would say it’s great to have choice, it also makes it a pain checking notifications coming from a range of sources.
Added to that is the fact that you need to have all these apps installed on the device and updating all the time.
The problem isn’t just that there are lots of small companies creating apps, larger companies may have several apps dedicated to doing the same thing, like Facebook messenger and WhatsApp.
It has long been desired that the apps that Facebook control unite, at least in forms of communication, so everything can be viewed in one place.
However, a recent leak suggests this may be true, and that the Facebook Messenger will be able to communicate with WhatsApp and vice versa.
