The closure of the Chinese factory has impacted Tesla, as has the supply chain issues relating to processing chips.
The Models Y and 3 made up almost 95% of productions deliverables and the Model S and X made up the remainder.
The prior quarter saw Tesla deliveries reach 308,600, so they have managed to over achieve, and they managed to increase 69% on last year.
Last month the Shanghai factory had to close its doors once again due to the Coronavirus pandemic and a lockdown put in place in Shanghai.
However, there was also some good news for the manufacturer this month, with the Germany Gigafactory being signed off and completed.
The Texas Gigafactory will be soon to follow with the factory unveiling taking place on the 7th of April, this could also assist Tesla in offsetting the reduced production in Shanghai.
