Ford has confirmed that orders for the new electric Mustang GT will commence from Wednesday, and with orders starting at just £60,000.
Versions of the new Mustang Mach GT will come standard with all-wheel drive and 480 brake horse power, unlike the existing Mustang on the market.
Zero to 60 will be achieved in just three point 8 seconds with the GT performance version handling it in just 3.5.
putting the new forward in serious contention with Tesla model Y, however it is likely that the Ford will cost less for the Mach E GT performance model.
The model why can still outclass the electric GT Mustangs when it comes to the range, 303 on the Tesla however the Ford will only manage 250.
Although as with the range on many electric vehicles those statistics should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Ford however don’t want to be compared to Tesla and have made it clear the new Mustang Mach he will boast the same horse power as the standard V8 model only with much more torque.
