iPhone has been a flagship phone new for many years, and with the current iPhone 11 pro, that is no different, however the SE when introduced in 2016 it made headlines being the only iPhone with a 4″ screen since 2013.
It was a smaller, but still pretty feature rich version handset, and the price reflected that.
There has been very little information from Apple in relation to the up and coming handset, but there has been a few rumours have started appearing.
Sources in Taiwan in the Apple supply chain, these sources suggest 2 LCD screened phone with be released in 2020.
It is yet to be determined whether this is just different sizes like the regular and max phones we have seen so far, however excitement over a new SE has already set in.
Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, has stated that the iPhone SE 2 if released will be designed similarly to the iPhone 8.
However, the phone will come with the same processor as the iPhone 11, the A13 Bionic chipset.
There is also some asceticism over the name that will be used, and whether it will be the SE 2 or the iPhone 9, which was missed when Apple jumped strait to the X or 10 for the 8.
The original SE came out is March 2016, so we shouldn’t have too long to wait.
