This week it was announced that Logitech will communicate the carbon impact of all products on packaging and on its website.
The entire life cycle of the product will be represented, from the materials all the way to the distribution and use of the product.
Where now you may see an A-E scale on your washing machine or tumble dryer, that relates to the impact of that product and not the impact of the creation or delivery of the product.
Third parties have been called in by Logitech to assist with the overhaul, including, Natural Capital Partners, iPoint Group “verify and validate product-level carbon impacts to DEKRA certification standards,” Logitech said in a press release.
