Marvel movies taking the spotlight for the Disney+ launch.
Disney has been working round the clock to ensure the Marvel movie offering is not as pitiful as first thought.
A new tweet from the official Disney+ account lists the additional movies to be added to the roster.
Titles which were on the initial launch included:
- Iron Man
- Iron Man 3
- Thor: The Dark World
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Ant-Man
- Captain Marvel
However, a couple of weeks back Disney announced Avengers: Endgame would be available on Disney+ one month earlier than expected, moving up from December 11th to November 12th.
In addition to that Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are also available to stream on Disney+ at launch.
Thus, Disney have summoned the army of Marvel and all that remain are the movies still entrusted to Netflix, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Infinity War, and Thor: Ragnarok.
However come 2020 Disney will have rights to them also, meaning if you are a Marvel fan there is only one place to be.
