The new Apple iPhone SE is here and boasts 5G along with a low cost albeit a little more expensive than the previous iPhone SE.
The new iPhone also has an upgraded chipset, A15 Bionic, which is the same chipset to be used in the iPhone 13 series.
Screen size remains the same as does the camera, with 4.7” and 12mp from the rear facing camera unit.
There is, however, an increase to the price of the handset with an expected 7% increase, which some are considering to be a 5G tax.
It is said the new chipset will improve battery life of the handset, which historically has not been a strength of the phone.
The phone is said to be able to offer 50 hours of audio playback, which is a feature BuyRecommended is capable of comparing against other handsets.
The new iPhone also has the same IP67 rating as previous iPhone SE devices, however with this new phone Apple has said the glass will be the “toughest glass in a smartphone.”
