The iPhone SE 2020 seems to be imminent, this is a low cost iPhone for those that aren’t looking to dish out everything for the flagship.
A report for 9to5mac says that the new iPhone could be released in the coming weeks, stating that the handset could be made available from April 3rd.
The SE was much loved when first announced and carved out a huge fan base from those that loved the classic iPhone design, and the smaller device, but also the great feature that were included.
The report from 9to5mac states the handset will still be titled the SE with a choice of black, white or red, the design is to be based on the iPhone 8 with a 4.7 inch LCD screen.
As with all iPhones there will be no external storage, therefore they are offering 64, 128 or 256GB, it will likely use the same processor as the iPhone 11 variants.
The price is yet to be confirmed, however what you can expect is that Apple are going to come in cheap, and not just cheap for an iPhone.
At an expected price of just £399 it it punching well below its weight in price and this might be the iPhone to capture the market despite the recent difficulties in phone sales
