Bug bounty programme from OnePlus is now live, in an attempt to beef up security and prevent future breaches.
OnePlus had their second publicised data breach in November 2019, now they have launched their campaign to ensure they don’t have a third.
If you are lucky or unlucky enough to uncover one of these flaws or vulnerabilities, then you can submit it to OnePlus and get a bounty.
- Special cases: up to $7,000
- Critical: $750–$1,500
- High: $250–$750
- Medium: $100–$250
- Low: $50–$100
The tiers aren’t quite clear as of yet, so don’t quit your day job, however OnePlus state that each case will be investigated internally and “determined based on vulnerability severity and actual business impact.”
