Portrait on a landscape design, what are samsung doing?

Well despite the fact that the letterbox view of televisions being etched in our minds, the tech world has developed an alternate… Portrait! But, it’s not as strange as it sounds, this has been a crying demand for many a user.

Samsung are doing it right with a heavy hitting 43″ QLED vertical system named, “The Sero”.

Samsung have developed this alongside its suite of QLED 2019 technology, with the millennial in mind, pivoting between landscape and portrait, it can be used for work or play. You can watch your Insta stories, Snapchat and Whatsapp during the day, then flip it 90, Netflix and chill at night.

Samsung says:
“Acknowledging that most mobile content is vertical, the Sero is designed to encourage young people to project more of their smartphone stuff onto the TV by allowing it to go vertical”
Display president Han Jong-hee said:
“Samsung will continue introducing screens that respect personal consumer tastes”

The market for the new QLED Sero will be not only the millennial who wants a awesome sound, but also the fashionable . With its 60W speakers alongside a minimalistic design, its ticking the right boxes. Samsung will also allow the television to operate as a photo frame or perhaps a music visualiser, user preference. As with all new QLED televisions released by Samsung this year BIXBY will also be available.

For now though the new Sero will only be available in South Korea at the cost of about $1,600, and Samsung are keen to emphasize this is purely a concept at present.

Much like you, we are much anticipating to see whether this is a Google Glass or an iPhone.
