Samsung has done something new with wireless charging pads, allowing three gadgets to be charged at the same time, the Wireless Charger Trio.
The charger is very different from what you may currently be using the charge your tech as it isn’t restricted to just one outlet.
This means you could be charging you phone, watch and even tablet at the same time, this isn’t just restricted to Samsung devices as Samsung use QI wireless tech , which is an industry standard.
So whether you’ve got a Samsung, Google or even a Sony phone you may be able to charge them all at the same time on this new pad.
This is by no means the first of the wireless chargers that is capable of supporting multiple gadgets, but it is the first from Samsung.
It is also something which Apple failed to release after announcing the device back in 2018, they could not bring it to market due to an array of technical difficulties.
The concept Apple had in 2018 would have been the first multiple gadgets supporting wireless charger, but that was 2 years ago.
Apple were also using QI charging on their device however, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, Dan Riccio, made a statement on the project.
Riccio said, “After much effort, we’ve concluded AirPower will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project.
“We apologize to those customers who were looking forward to this launch. We continue to believe that the future is wireless and are committed to push the wireless experience forward.”
Samsung has yet to name the price or release date for the new charging device, however you shouldn’t expect much change from £100.
