AirPod a brand to itself, it is one of the most Marmite devices which Apple have released. There is no denying, however they started something big, and brought wireless headphones to everyone’s attention.
Often you will see someone jogging or cycling with a little white thing in their ear, except swimmers, as up till now the headphones have not been waterproof. This is all suspected to change though with the up and coming AirPod concept.
Dan Ives, tech industry expert, is under the belief that Apple will unveil a new pair of AirPods in California in September at a tech hardware show.
“Waterproof and more expensive”expected to have some design enhancements and will be waterproof with higher price points,” analyst from Wedbush Securities.
“We believe $229 is the sweet spot price point for the next AirPods version,”
With the current approach to cross seas pricing, we are set to see prices at £229, which seems they have made up their own conversion rate.
Apple are yet to announce such news themselves, however you can be sure they will be looking to offer something different from the current AirPods 2, and waterproof seems a sensible step.
