Warning from Apple about scratching their card

Have you ever had an iPhone, well you will be all too familiar with the scuffs and scratches, which can occur from the slightest spec of dust.

Unfortunately, the Apple card is no different, Apple have just updated their support website to warn users that they should not leave the card in contact with certain materials as this will damage the card eternally.

Also the card should not be kept in a wallet slot with another card as scratches could occur in the scenario also.

That’s not the end of it; keys, coins, buttons and any “other potentially abrasive objects.”

“If your titanium Apple Card comes into contact with hard surfaces or materials, it’s possible that the coating can be damaged,” Apple have said.

So maybe you should just keep it in an airtight cushioned container?

The credit card released by Apple looks fantastic, styling very similar to the Apple brand style guide so we are not complaining about that, but perhaps they could have made it slightly more versatile in its use.

The “beauty” of the card was one of the USP’s upon launch.

When the card arrives in the UK and you do decide it’s the right card for you, Apple recommends putting it in a wallet, pocket or bag made of “soft materials.” Apple also suggests cleaning the titanium card by wiping it with a microfiber cloth that has been moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
